The Queen wears a crown of butterflies. She transforms her world through thought.

The Queen wears a cloak of waves. She is the sea, and is not the sea. Her ambiguity is potential.

Divination opens to this fact. You may find its door intentionally, or by luck.

There are seventy-eight threads. Follow a thread to the labyrinth’s center. The center holds the labyrinth together.

The cards create infinite combinations, in infinite tongues. All speak of freedom.

This site is a site for dreaming. This site is a site for collecting dreams. This site is an open plain, a wild prairie, a swelling river. This site is a construction site.

This site is a site for images. For scraps of thought to land, arrange, and re-arrange. For questions to emerge. For resolution, and reorientation.

This site is a practice.

Divination is the art of Hermes. It is related to interpretation (hermeneutics), un-concealing the hidden (hermetic), embodying opposites and hybrids (hermaphrodite), and situates itself at boundaries (herm).

Divination traverses the realms of visible and invisible. The liminal ignites and illuminates what had been overlooked, or not yet seen.

Divination offers an opportunity for dialogue (dia across + legein to speak). Dialogue offers possibilities for insight. Insight enables shifts in perception and belief. Insight initiates action.

Divination organizes life’s dynamic flow, and momentarily stills fluctuating energies, by composing and manifesting spirit through material (the cards) and language (interpretation).

Divination is a collaboration (dialogue) between reader, querent, matter, and spirit.

Upon reflection and integration, the divinatory message has the potential to manifest powerfully.

DIVINATION

I picked up my first deck at age 14. Since then, tarot has grown to be part of my creative practice as a visual artist and writer. I use tarot as a tool for navigation. I made this site as a site for creativity, inspiration, and divination. It serves as notation to mystery.
